I've upped the max number of connections on the FTP site to 20. should allow most of you to download the hacks overnight.

I can't help but wonder, have psionics been updated with bugfixes and changes to the powers that Mr. Nathan did in his last hak? Or will Avlis still be running the old psionics haks?
If there was a lot changed, should I just direct log my psion onto Deglos and do some testing?

When I did everying I was told to do, the saving part was almost instantaneous. I have a slow modem connection, and downloading haks before has always taken some time. Does this mean that something probably didn't happen correctly? Or am I just paranoid?

avlis_main1_2.rar is 78kb
copap4_4.rar 238kb

so very small haks incompressed form, and fast to download.

uncompressed they are:
avlis_main1_2.hak is 2072kb
copap4_4.hak kb is 8025kb

un rar them, if it works and you can get the hak files out of them, then it must have worked.

Anyone know if there is a "No-CD" hak for this version yet? I really rely on that hak, because my real CD is wearing out fast and seems very unreliable at times. Thanks.

I recommend getting a copy of "Alchol 120%" which can make working virtual copies of the disc. Very useful

You can find a copy on http://www.gamecopyworld.com. If you have problems just drop by IRC and get it from somewhere there :)

Cracks, and warez of any sort should not be discussed on the Stratics network. Personally, I don't care how innocent or legit the reason. read the Stratics welcome message for my reasons for this statement. I don't want to see anyone unduely nailed by a SysOp, as unlikely as it is.

I wonder if you guys can help (not sure if I'll ever hear back from Bioware).

I just updated to 1.65 and now my mouse cursor is not working properly. My mouse cusor used to be invisible (in NWN) except when I moved it and then it would flicker like mad. I fixed this an age ago in NWN by setting enable hardware mouse to 0 in nwn.ini.

Since the 1.65 'fix' I get a double cursor. To be exact when I roll my cursor over a door for instance I get the hand pointer + the door icon. They are slightly out of sync with each other which makes it very annoying and tricky.

Any ideas how I can fix this?

Better yet, I have this problem with a lot of games since DirectX 9 came out (Microsoft are zero help and my optical trackball is a small & soft product, drivers correctly installed etc etc ad nauseam). If anyone knows how I can solve this for all my games I'll give you this sandwich?

The odd thing is after NWN Crashed (kernel 32 error) the problem righted itself !?!?

9b I think, logging off now so not going to check (especially since the problem has gone).

Not many at all actually. Not just cos of the mouse thing. 99% of my gaming time is spent on Avlis, has been for over a year now. The other 1% is spent on the PS2 with my wife.

Nice avatar by the way *grins*

If its sorted itself good.

If you arent playing many other games on the machine, it may be worth considering going to an older version of direct X

Hi.

I have a quick question to ask (regarding one of the 2 new haks) here.

Since I have only just found out (through searching the forums here) that I've had to download and install the new "avlis_main1_2.hak"
I still have the old "avlis_main1_0.hak" in there too.

Is there anything of importance as to why I should still keep that last one I just mentioned, or shall I bin it, and get rid of it instead?

Also, it's the same with "copaphak4_4.hak"
I have already downloaded and installed that on too, but I still have the old
"copaphak4_3.hak" Should I bin this one too, or keep it?
Is there any importance here at all?

Thanks! :)

You normally don't have to keep the previous version unless we specifically say that it is needed. ;)
