un rar them, if it works and you can get the hak files out of them, then it must have worked.szabot wrote:When I did everying I was told to do, the saving part was almost instantaneous. I have a slow modem connection, and downloading haks before has always taken some time. Does this mean that something probably didn't happen correctly? Or am I just paranoid?

You can find a copy on http://www.gamecopyworld.com. If you have problems just drop by IRC and get it from somewhere there

Cracks, and warez of any sort should not be discussed on the Stratics network. Personally, I don't care how innocent or legit the reason. read the Stratics welcome message for my reasons for this statement. I don't want to see anyone unduely nailed by a SysOp, as unlikely as it is.Snow wrote:You can find a copy on http://www.gamecopyworld.com. I wonder if you guys can help (not sure if I'll ever hear back from Bioware).
I just updated to 1.65 and now my mouse cursor is not working properly. My mouse cusor used to be invisible (in NWN) except when I moved it and then it would flicker like mad. I fixed this an age ago in NWN by setting enable hardware mouse to 0 in nwn.ini.
Since the 1.65 'fix' I get a double cursor. To be exact when I roll my cursor over a door for instance I get the hand pointer + the door icon. They are slightly out of sync with each other which makes it very annoying and tricky.
Any ideas how I can fix this?
Better yet, I have this problem with a lot of games since DirectX 9 came out (Microsoft are zero help and my optical trackball is a small & soft product, drivers correctly installed etc etc ad nauseam). If anyone knows how I can solve this for all my games I'll give you this sandwich?

The odd thing is after NWN Crashed (kernel 32 error) the problem righted itself !?!?
Nice avatar by the way *grins*
9b I think, logging off now so not going to check (especially since the problem has gone).Alphonse wrote: which version of Direct X 9 are you using?
Not many at all actually. Not just cos of the mouse thing. 99% of my gaming time is spent on Avlis, has been for over a year now. The other 1% is spent on the PS2 with my wife.Alphonse wrote: What games other than Avlisare you playing?

If you arent playing many other games on the machine, it may be worth considering going to an older version of direct X

Hi.
I have a quick question to ask (regarding one of the 2 new haks) here.
Since I have only just found out (through searching the forums here) that I've had to download and install the new "avlis_main1_2.hak"
I still have the old "avlis_main1_0.hak" in there too.
Is there anything of importance as to why I should still keep that last one I just mentioned, or shall I bin it, and get rid of it instead?
Also, it's the same with "copaphak4_4.hak"
I have already downloaded and installed that on too, but I still have the old
"copaphak4_3.hak" Should I bin this one too, or keep it?
Is there any importance here at all?
Thanks!

You normally don't have to keep the previous version unless we specifically say that it is needed.
