it was supposed to be a feature from the early beta stages of the original release of NWN, but was removed for some reason and has never been put back in... real shame too.. it was supposed to be able to save quickbar setups and then you could hotkey the quickbar swapping so you could technically have almost limitless numbers of presaved quickbarsKinX wrote:this is actually possible, i read it in some article somewhere, but i can't remember anything about it.Lafferty wrote:i would like to be able to save and restore an arbitrary amount of quickbars.
I have never used one but the HoU manual says that sequencer robes have been put in. You cast a series of spells on to them and when activated they cast them all back. Though I think the amount is limited and the only cast them on the wearer, which is pretty uselss in party situations.Lafferty wrote:i would like to be able to save and restore an arbitrary amount of quickbars.
i would also like to be able to store spell book seetings and spell sequences
... mages cast buffs on someone OTHER than themselves in party situations??Fire Monkey wrote: I have never used one but the HoU manual says that sequencer robes have been put in. Maybe if I did not have to cast hold person on my tanks to get them to stay still long enough to rest and buff I would buff them. It is hard to get them to rest at all, then they just run off and expect you to follow as soon as rest is over. It is like they do not remember I am a mage. DO you not see me casting!? After they run off a few times I give up and stop memorizeing buffs for them.Fuzz wrote:... mages cast buffs on someone OTHER than themselves in party situations??Fire Monkey wrote: I have never used one but the HoU manual says that sequencer robes have been put in. Why didn't I get that memo?
