April's Roleplayers of the Month

Post by Wyrmwing » Sun Apr 24, 2005 12:12 am

Yup, it is that time again. Who do you think are most deserving of the title this month around? Votes are being accepted from now on until midnight GMT between the 30th and the 1st of May.

Quick suggestion:

Starting next month, have a Kuras only vote alongside the normal one.

Server specific RPotM is a bad idea. It's a global community and most of those who have won have embodied that thought.
It's chaos, be kind.

I don't think that Kuras is going to be a "universe unto itself" for very long, so it probably is unnecessary to start an institution around the place.

Trouble is that if you have a main on the S.Avlis servers, and they make the boat ride north, they aren't going to "blend". Most of the challenges of Kuras are easy enough that an 8th level character would get bored silly (I mean, this is a place where a group of goblins terrorizes the population, where S. Avlis there were 20 or so mages that waded through hordes of vampires). I think it's a decent idea, since there are no server hops, so the place is going to be more or less isolated for a while (when the fiefs go live, it will be a whole lot bigger, and consequently have a larger player base). I think it at least deserves some consideration.

<Sili> I've seen septic tanks with less shit in them than Fuzz.

<Ronnin> damm not even a kiss??
<Chasmania> Kiss Fuzz? I'd rather fellate a goat.

<Chasmania> there are many roads to Rome..they just picked a shit filled alley full of scabby hookers and bums.

You try taking an eighth level character through the goblin caves, then come back and say that again.

Maybe goblins are a bad example? The farthest my 2nd level char has gotten was to be killed by the three just inside the door.

Is there a Tyedu Border there that you can access IG and see?

I know if I was on the battlefield and I got hit by a pile of shit... I'd probably go home.

Nope. Tyedu borders the Halastead and Lomar fiefs up north. Kuras is further south. One the rest of the empire goes live you might be able to walk up to the border.
