Three spells. Displacement, Firebrand, and Shield. There are no other spells or feats that would really be useful for my sorc, I think. The Bigby's would look cool, but I dont think I'd wanna waste high level spell slots on them. And of course, the new terrains...

LOL, you mean to fix what they forgot to fix? Or to fix what they already fixed?

I'm looking forward to a few things: prestige classes for one: I play quite a few modules so I'll probably give them all a try at one time or another. Skills: I always enjoyed tumble in PnP and its good to have it in game.
Petrification attacks: having to defend against them will complicate the game in a good way, at least to me. New campaign: if its a good centralized story that runs crisp start to finish, then I'll enjoy it. Feats: I haven't looked at the list, but I remember it looking interesting.

Variety is the spice of life, all the expansion really has to do is to expand the choices that a player can make.

I'm waiting for them to patch things without breaking other stuff. And since I've heard the expansion will be acting as a patch as well...

Just in case someone heard something I've missed or whatnot, are they treating the Prestige Classes as Prestige Classes, or just as normal Classes? I ask because I did read that the Prestige Class will count against your Three-class limit.
More importantly however... if they are creating Prestige Classes, will they leave the door open for custom classes? Seems like a good idea, but also one of them double-bladed... or... edged? Bah, a sword of Damacoles (Or something spelled much like that).

Yes it will count.

Nope

Looking forward to seeing improved bard abilities and I don't even play a bard. Also looking forward to new spell animations. Are they going to add new spell animations? By that I mean the cool animae and sound effects (saying the spell and wooshing noises) that occur as its being cast.

I heard they hired Ross Perot to sample a giant sucking sound.

I can't wait to see Anti-Paladins of Maleki running around. :)

Snowy Avlis lands won't pop up until we do Tyedu.... and that is quite far to the north.
