If I've done the math right that's noon to midnight GMT.

This includes the master server and all the fun authentication and comes with it. Plan accordingly! Moving this to newspost — thanks for the heads up PJ.

Those guys just don't get it do they? You do NOT take a game authentication server down on a WEEKEND. You do it on a weekday between 9-11 am when everyone is either at school or working and nobody plays :)

Sounds like a good window for Silk to fire up the two new servers and get them going. Silk, did you request this downtime from Bioware?

Are you willing to run the risk of having your characters stripped of all their gold and items? Or were you looking to loot somebody else? Because that's exactly what the auth settings prevent.

Don't like it? Bitch at Bioware.

When it comes to fiddly things like the authentication server, always double-check whatever anyones says. Unless that person is PJ. Authentication will remain on.

Damn Bioware. Nice timing.

Tomorrow is the 25th Anniversary of my mother's death. Given that my father is now in a Care Home and will never be able to return home, I really could have used a little RP on Avlis to take my mind off that Anniversary.

Oh well - have to go kill something on WoW, I suppose.

It's either 11a-11p or 12-12, depending on who's math you trust above. I can't access their forums either to check. Try it at 11p GMT, if it doesn't work....it's 12.

to DeadEyeDave...

Try to log in after 7:00 PM EST. if that doesn't work, try logging in after 8:00 PM EST.

If that doesn't work, I'm sure someone will post something to the effect of "Woot! we're back online." or "Damn, Avlis is back up, and I have to go to work, figures."
