Error 500...again?

Post by weeno » Sun Feb 11, 2007 9:00 am

Anyone else still getting that Error 500? I am, and it wont let me onto the boards. Once every 5 tries or so spread out over 2-3 hours. Same message, new picture. Instead of the dog, it is some guy getting chopped up.

I am getting pretty tired of this error.... especially when you spend 10-25 minutes writing a reply to someone, you press submit and you crash out. Happened a few times now, so I just started making copies of what I wrote just in case it happens again. ((the irony, exactly this happened when I tried submitting my reply to this thread))
And crashing out, getting back on and seeing there are 0 new posts makes me miss out on a lot of stuff as well.

It is really getting annoying by now. I hope someone figures out what is causing it soon.

Shame we couldn't get the number to increment each time, so we get 'Error 501', 'Error 502', ........

Then, we could have a sweepstake on who reaches the highest number.

Seriously, I know it is a royal PITA. Please be patient people, the Team's Web Ninja are working on this problem. It will be fixed asap.
Life is never as bad as you think it is, although that doesn't help at the time.

This is a good one. I practically always do this: just copy it. Its easy & its fun! :S ;)

I do, but mine is more consistent. There are days I can't get on at all.

Better yet, make the 500 error have a secret code to get 10% off of Avlis merchandise at cafepress! You'll be frustrated but feel like you won something at the same time...

Can we please stop creating a new thread on this issue every other day.

It is known about.

It is being looked into.

And some wise words from a wise man. :P
