Well, it is a good job I don't care if you think I am cheesing. I don't see anything wrong with emoting *unbuckles armour*, buffing then emoting *rebuckles armour* before entering a dungeon. I also don't feel bad about doing the same *in* a dungeon, as long as I do it somewhere "safe"Trueguardian wrote:scribe wrote:Real bad form in my opinion. It is one thing to have this % applied when firing spells in combat, another out...

Very silly comment, IMO.

I dont believe it is cheesing to pre-buff in "PJs" before hand. Cheesing is doing something that the system wont let you do, and its pretty easy to change cloths/armor before a battle.Trueguardian wrote:scribe wrote:Real bad form in my opinion. Dont forget that you can't equip/unequip armor during a battle either.

That's the one I'm actually responsible for. Darthjee was the 5-10% one, Trueguardian is the one who objected to buffing nighties. I think it was my fault, up above, that it got messed up.scribe wrote:When you are buffing, you slip into your pajamas for a minute.

Like I said, my opinion (which doesn't mean much, and that is fine). With that said...."safe" in a dungeon is an oxymoron. You just killed some uglies, the "battle music" has stopped and as long as the group doesn't move it is over a predetermind engine limit spawn point it is "safe". Just doesn't seem right to me. My way isn't better or worse than yours, just different.Fifty wrote:Well, it is a good job I don't care if you think I am cheesing. well, you can always take the armor off and risk having a spaw getting you unpreparedTrueguardian wrote:Like I said, my opinion (which doesn't mean much, and that is fine). It doesn't have to be that way- on previously encountered servers I've seen some real nasty patrols used in dungeons and the like. I think it's much harder to balance the challenge level that way, though.Trueguardian wrote:You just killed some uglies, the "battle music" has stopped and as long as the group doesn't move it is over a predetermind engine limit spawn point it is "safe".
