not all of them..the maul for example..has a new base weapon type, so impossible to get the feats for it as it stands
Yeah, if you look at the item description, the maul and things like the picks will say base item: heavy pick* or something like that. I think the asterisk means that it's a CEP item.

Sidenote on WM's that not everyone's aware of, is that you can eventually choose more weapons that you've mastered as you get up into epic levels... one of the epic bonus feats is 'weapon of choice' which allows you to add another weapon to your prowess as long as you've got focus in it. (but still no missile/cep weapons ;) )

AFAIK, this is actually a bioware screw-up. A weapon-master should not be able to master several weapons, because the whole point of him is to actually dedicate himself so much to a single weapon that he is a master of it.

Could be a screw-up, but I'm not sure what else the point of including Weapon of Choice as an epic bonus feat would be, since the WM already gets Weapon of Choice before becoming epic in that class. Unless the inclusion of the feat itself is a bug that's continued to go unaddressed? Not sure... and my D&D knowledge set ends before there were prestige classes like WM. Actually when I found out about being able to master multiple weapons I thought of an old favorite fantasy character of mine, Garet Jax from the Shannara series. He was the "Weapons Master", and while that doesn't really say anything about the NWN class, I think the concept itself is pretty cool. ;) Actually I'm not sure if I've seen anyone with 13+ WM levels on Avlis so I guess the point is moot.

Well, for a Weapon Master, that's all fine and dandy, but an Epic Weapon Master is supposed to be a cut above the rest. Frankly, this makes brilliant sense for dual weilding, so you can master both (for instance) Rapier and Dagger, and be true flourentine style.
