I'm having issues with making NWN function in Window Mode. I've followed every step I've been told, by 3 or 4 different people.
I've made sure these values are in my nwn.ini, beneath the Display section.
FullScreen=0
AllowWindowedMode=1
Alt & Enter didn't work.
I've then changed NWN to 800x600 resolution, and kept windows at 1024 resolution.
Alt & Enter didn't work.
The two values are correct within the ini file, I'm running 1.66, have an NVIDIA graphics card that supports resolution upto 1600.
Anyone have any ideas why it won't work?
Cheers,
Dimo

I have exactly the same problem, with exactly the same setup.
I can't help you solve the problem but at least you know you're not alone

Try setting:
Width=800
Height=600
In NWN.ini,
Just an idea...

My Desktop is 1600 x 1200
NWN is set to 1360 x 1024
nwn.ini file in the [Display Options] has
AllowWindowedMode=1
FullScreen=0
Works fine here

Changed res in the ini file instead of in options and it worked!
Thanks Tesh, if you're ever in England I'll buy you a car.
A very small car.

I have a question, if I may ...
I started running in window mode. however, to spin the screen I usually move the cursor to one side of the screen.
This doesn't work in window mode.
Is my only recourse to use the arrow buttons ?
Are there other ways ?
Thanks.

This, unfortunately, is just something you'll have to live with in windowed mode. Theres nothing you can really do about it, but Ive always considered it worth the trade-off

If you have a third button on your mouse, like a scroll button, you can hold that down and drag. This will turn the perspective in game.

For me it is just my second button that makes it work, maybe settings somewhere might let you change it?

Actually using the keyboard for moving is much better if you go into your control options and change all the nwn key settings so you can move and turn the camera all with your left hand and use the mouse to click on objects. Its a little crowded for my hand but i use it anyways.
