Reth T'Reth has no conversation, and doesn't even turn around when clicked on.

I have lost my shovel and there is no option to ask for a new one in the dialogue with Alrek the Foul smelling.

Fixed - liephus
Maybe you noticed something I didn't. :P

To me, it still looks like it says "...enhance of power of..." instead of "...enhance the power of..." - sorry I wasn't more specific before.
Oops, updated it in the palette but not the merchant. Should be fixed now. - liephus

Ok, just updated the server.

* Torture devices work now (though I realized I created an exploit in the process, oops)
* Modified the guano quest to award gold and xp to everyone (albiet less than would be awarded to a single player)
* Changed the mushroom protecting quest so the end is a bit more obvious
* Various NPCs should be raisable now
* Changed slaves from being summons to henchmen
* Reth speaks now, he just doesn't have much to say.
* Demon is nicer to lowbies

Found wharehouse 1 now, but there are still 2 wharehouses numbered 2.

Can confirm the penalty for labouring incorrectly on the docks

Also there were no ladies of the night working on the docks ..... they had probably already been converted - to cha'reth :) (that is they had turned from 'cuddlyawfulteddy'). You may want to look at the respawn rate of these ladies as this is one of the first quests n00bs are likely to find below...and so probably popular.

What nation is Verloghokbol in anyway?

Is it just a rogue city like Elysia? :P

Are we down for a bit? I just got a password incorrect message upon trying to log in.

Ran around for a bit yesterday with a couple of others, but didn't get terribly far, as my 1st level n00b could get pwn'd by a stiff breeze. One debate we had was the items in the marketplace. Some of them seem a bit ... overpowered? Anyway, I was curious if the merchant inventories will stay the same when you go live (methinks they'll change). If they do stay the same, there was quite a bit of stuff that still had Faerun references in the descriptions.

If you don't plan on swapping their inventories, and want a complete list, let me know -- I'll try to put in some time reading descriptions and pointing out the Faerun stuff.

PS: The server rocks!

Buddha: The thing is, that gnome is a Planar Merchant. He has traveled to Faerun and thus sells stuff from there (is told in the conversation). Still I agree that some of the stuff is a bit overpowered.

Ps. Indeed the Server rocks!

IIRC, most were expensive and charged. New characters in Dark City won't be able to buy them, and other characters will have to travel very far to get them. And then they run out of charges, too. So, I thought they were ok, although I admit I didn't pay too close attention to them to think about this.

I just realised something i found and could be used as a spoiler...

When you leave the town, there is this monstosety you can talk to to enter the city again. If you awnser it you have no clue of any city he teleports you to the beginningpoint for the good and neurtall characters. This is a hel of a fast way to leave the dark city cause you dont have to walk al the way, and dont have to fight the difficult critters keepping us goodies and the baddies sepperate ;)

Awesome server, well done! Especially the quests there make my day :) The Crystal Death quest seems broken though. (no reward)

I was wondering if the rothe quests or dock works are supposed to be doable once per reset, or once per character or every few hours?

well, i can't wait for Verloghokbol to come live... :D

As I was leaving my corpse in the start tent...sorry about that...I noticed that the "read me" sign still had Elysia listed as Avlis' newest and most newbie friendly server....I imagine that's going to be changed as part of the launch but thought I'd bring it up...love the rewards by the way for tithing to kominicitnus.
