Crit Multiplier and Dual Wielding

Post by Beary666 » Sat Apr 01, 2006 3:44 pm

I've noticed some a little odd about dual wielding and crit multipliers, which unfortunately I don't think we can fix.

If you have a main hand weapon with a x2 crit multiplier, and your offhand has a weapon with a x3 multiplier, when you crit with your offhand, you actually don't get the x3 multiplier, you get the x2.

I haven't tested if this works the other way around with a x3 in the main hand and a x2 in the off hand.

Has anyone else noticed this?

are you sure it was the offhand that critted?

remember the way flurries work in NWN it does all the main hand attacks first, then any off hand attacks

If was the offhand cause I have a redgate handaxe in my offhand, and instead of getting my 15 positive damage, it was only 10 on a crit

This is a fairly obscure bug but yes, that's how it works. Nothing we can do about it.

You can go to the NWN 2 boards and ask them to fix it for NWN 2.
