Spell Focus: Abjuration and Dispelling
This may sound like a stupid question, but does the feat Spell Focus (Abjuration) actually affect any of the Dispelling branch of Abjurations?
Ie, Lesser Dispell, Dispell and Greater Dispelling.

STFU, it is hardly a worthless feat for an arcane caster! It's a totally effin rad RP feat, especially for a magus that fancies herself a demonologist, planeswalker, or summoner type caster. If you can't figure out why, then... well, I'll tell you.
Banishment.
Banishment.

And it helps banishment? Didn't realize that required a save. Cool.

true ... though the problem is that no one will know weather you hvae or do nt have the feat .... so it's fun to say yeah i focused there and there but imo (call it powerplay if you like) i'll rather drop abjuration and conjuration (which would be teh RP choices for me) and take something taht would actually help me like evocation and necromany.cpampine wrote:STFU, it is hardly a worthless feat for an arcane caster! Banishment.
Anyway sure i can banish a demon but ehm ... a FoD does basically the same so. I just let my RP show what my interests are, not my feats as no one will know those anyway :s. That and it's pretty hard to claim your some powerfull warlock if everyone lives your spells eh?
.... anyway in my case it ain't that bad ... as a warlock is generally a mage who uses the 'darker' side of magic, which often includes shadowy things and demons (summons in general sort to say). so it's not perfect RP wise but hell ..... in this case screw it as otherwise everyone is saving vs my spells :s can't have that
