NWN2 news: UI via script

Oh, and visible boots, cloaks. :)

That's minor compared to the thing above though.

There have been several things I've wanted to do that'd require custom GUI panels... but just can't in NWN.

If all the stuff we keep hearing about the UI is true, it will be nice.

Doubt I'll be porting Tairis to NWN2, or making a different part of Tairis in NWN2. I once thought I would, but I'm just not sure it's worth it at this point. Not that NWN2 wouldn't be great to use to build what I want... It has the tools I've been craving... But, meh... I'll shutup before I say too much.

And some wise words from a wise man. :P

Both EQ2 and WOW have customisable UIs, and its amazing what the community has done with them. WOW alone has dozens of user mods you can install, some tailored specifically to various classes. E.G.Mages can have up to 10 toolbars for spells! So from a player point of view, having that kind of thing in NWN2 would be awesome!!

Sounds like NWN2 might be worth upgrading the ol' Compy for!

To me, its kinda like buying a new car or keeping my old one. The old one is not worn out yet, it still looks good and works fine. I will just have to see what comes up when I NEED a new one... until then, money can be saved for a rainy day.
