P.S. I think this thread is an example of why Avlis is such a great place. Thanks everyone for making this such a great communicty.
Candy and I both agree. This is why we spend so much time here among so many careing people that we , over time, have formed friendships with - and continue to find friends. The last two years have been riddled with all sorts of problems ( from my own moms passing, to money ( pffft....ongoing..), and many other life challenges...), and coming here, to all of you, makes our days a little easier to handle, and often puts a smile on our faces. :D

We have heard many words of sympathy and reassurance. We both really appreciate the moral support. Candy and I want to thank you, Avlis, for helping us through this hard time. Candy is starting to move about the house again, and isn't sitting with that lost in space gaze. Her tummy pains aren't as bad and I believe she is starting to recover both physically and emotionally. I'm feeling better, too. We should be able to start trying again in a few months.

In about a week we will know for sure if the treatment worked, after that it will be time to raise our chins for the next challange that life send our way. :P

8) Thank You, Avlis, for being here. 8)

....and with that I better browse posts before I get even more teary eyed.....

:(

Rest much and regain strength Candy... So good you have at least Tony to take care of you.

Don't even dare to be worried about Avlis in such moment, we all will be still here when you are back and welcome you warmly :)

Just learning about this after spending some time RPing/adventuring with you, I'm happy that you decided to spend some time with Bruno and crew, and hope you had as good a time as I did. Having watched my wife go through an emergency c-section for our first, I can sorta understand the worry and such. But still not quite the same because ours had a happy ending. But there's still a chance for a happy ending for the two of you, and I wish you all the best.

Any time you want another promise of "near certain death", be sure to catch up with Bruno wherever he's found wandering about. He'll be happy to oblige by getting everyone else in over their heads while somehow barely escaping being DPed himself. :)

God bless you both. It is better to have found out about the complication now, before it became life threatening for Candy. You have my prayers, as always.

Now, in a couple of months I expect to see another post in this forum. Something along the lines of "Hey guys, guess what! We're pregnant!!" You know, something like that.

All my heart to you both.

I’m so sorry for the pain you both have gone through, but grateful that the problem was caught soon enough before becoming more life-threatening.

On a positive note, now we all know that Tony’s “swimmers” are able to make the distance. Rest for now, regenerate, and I’m sure that you both will have your “little one” in the future.

I know how much you wanted this.. I'm so sorry to hear it. But I'm sure that you'll be ok again soon, and back on track with having a family.

best wishes!

well last week just before i left the hospital the doctor gave me a shot of MDX. this is used to end the pregnancy. well this week i had to go in for two blood draws and today i got the results. my hGC lvls have droped just like they are supposed to. this means that tony and i have been cleared to start trying again in 4-6 weeks. yeah i know it sounds like we are waiting on a pakage *grins*. but i knew that everyone would want to know that i am doing better. thanks to every one for everything...oh and NH4 just keep hitting that DM heal button for me. i still have a long road of ahead of me but i have tony by my side to help me when i need it. thanks again everyone.

Awww, sweet news, congratulations!

Course, this means that we're going to be seeing a lot less of you two while you, uh, hmm, well, you know...

I'll leave these kind of comments to Grunt.

Congratulations again!
