HELP needed - Crashing in Wilds permanently ?!
Dear folks,
has anyone experience with the following...
my char stands at dwarftrade and after seconds the following crash happens:
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error!
nwmain.exe
-> abnormal program termination
How can I solve this, any clues?
Thanks in advance.

Yeah... got about the same problem.
Do you only see the major buildings in the dwarftrade without the grass detail and the spawns? If so just logg into Elysia (or another server), wait an hour and play again.
My advice is stay away from the dwarftrade as much as you can because for as far as I know only a few players have this problem and the team doen't know what it is.
Goodluck with it.

Found something on the Bioware boards concerning it:
Derek French of BioWare once said this:

Well for me as mentioned it was DirectX and Graphic Card Driver which seemt to need an update.
For now Dwarftrade is stable again for me.

It doesn't offer any specific solutions, unfortunately, but that's because there are no specific solutions.
C Run Time errors are the worst, as they can be caused by literally anything on your computer. You are going to have to check for updated drivers as well as consider reinstalling many drivers. It could be from DirectX, sound drivers, video drivers, motherboard drivers. It can also be caused by bad data from the game (which would get fixed in a reinstall) as well as hard drive issues that can be addressed by ScanDisk.
