sad news ((not so sad anymore...YAY!!!))

Post by candywazz » Fri Oct 07, 2005 12:08 am

hey everyone,

there are many of you that know that i recently found out that i am going to have a baby.

well....i had what was called commonly a tubal pregnancy. simple put this means that the egg did not make it to the uterus. i spent all last night and most of today in the hospital. thankfully i have a wonderful doctor whom knows how much tony and i want this and she was there for us in our time of need. she went though all the opptions that were open to us. frist is to have them go in and surgically remove the pregnancy from the tube, and the second was to give me a shot to have my body "start over". we opted to go with the shot due to the small size, only 2 mm. if they had done the surgary there was the possablity that they would have missed the pregnancy and i would still need the shot when that was said and done. so that is the way we went. once i have finished this treatment plan tony and i can start tring again in a couple of months.

as for the time being, i will be in a lot of pain over the next week or so and i am on pain killers. so i will not be around a whole lot. got to get as much sleep as i can so that i can heal up and start all over.

thanks for the understanding everyone and i will try to pop in every so often over the next week or so. that way everyone knows that i am still here.

Game on all. see ya'll soon

candy and tony

Candy and Tony,

I honestly can't say I know how you feel, because I don't.

However, I can relate somewhat, and I wish you both the best of luck in the future.

I hope you get well soon candy, you will be sorely missed.

I am so very sorry to hear about your pain. My wife went through a similar situation just over a year ago now, and while we were blessed to have gotten lucky again I still remember well the pain and sadness from that time.

My heart goes out to the both of you, and I wish you the very best during the recovery period and good fortune for when you decide to try again.

Very sorry to hear that.

It always seems that whilst some people who are not too worried about having kids have no problems, the people who really want them seem to have all sorts of difficulties.

I hope that you feel better soon and that all is well, so that your next pregnancy goes well and you have a happy and healthy baby next time.

As I told Tony, me and my wife had difficulties, and everything turned out okay in the end. My son is probably going to be our only child, since my wife does not get pregnant easy, and had a very difficult birth. Even still, we kept trying, and our son is one year old and very healthy and happy. I wish you a quick recovery and hope that you do keep trying and don't give up. You are great people, and your child will be wonderful.

Best Wishes,

Jesse

 I hope everything works out. I can only imagine how hard that would be, heaven knows my wife and I have been trying long enough without success so I can kind of understand the frustration and grief.

P.S. I think this thread is an example of why Avlis is such a great place. Thanks everyone for making this such a great communicty.

Having my wife lose a baby was one of the most painful things I ever felt, and I wasn't even the one with the actual biology that was going through the pain.

Hang in there and may you get exactly what you need. All the best of luck.
