Never heard of the auto-updater not working. You either already have 1.66 or you will need to uninstall and reinstall.

Or you might need to download the critical rebuild, then run the auto update. I had to do that.

And obviously you haven't heard enough. Auto-updater happened to fail for me several times, but I am using different language version. Silverfields, what version do you use and what kind of problem do you encounter?

It wasn't a joke and was directed at you. As Zyndro says, try the Critical Rebuild. I had to do this myself too, seems the Updater is a bit sketchy..

And btw...I have NEVER heard of the auto-updater not working. If I had, I would have told this person to try it.

P.S. New guy, try what these people say. They obviously know so much more about NWN's because they have been playing it forever (you can tell this by their dates on Avlis, never mind the fact that I have played on a dozen PW's in the past 2 years)
