I read the readme file and I know I need the HotU map.
My question is wenn I place them hak's into the hakmap is says I already have them, only all three some kb's less?

What should I do?

Wierd I seem to have everything already just smaller then the new files?

I havent got any idea what you guys are normaly talking about but I"m trying to keep up.

ANYONE?
Short answer is overwrite the old files. If you want the long description, there is a pdf with the 152 patch called CEP Players Guide v152.pdf. Check the section about "Patching CEP (For Players)" on page 17, I think.

Are these going to be added to the hak list for builders, or can we just use the current list with the latest files (and the cep1patch152.hak at the top of the cep stuff)? Being placeholder files, I assume there isn't anything us normal folk will have access to anyway. The player housing thread seems to have the most complete Avlis list here.

Thanks for the updated list. Very handy, though the copaptlk4_5.tlk may not be out for a while :P (Lastest is copaptlk_3_5.tlk)

corrected to 3_5 thanks :-)

Edit: Can anybody point me towards the following files in the 1.52 patch?

cepanatomy.hak
cepbaseitem.hak
cepcreature.hak
cepplace.hak
cepportrait.hak
ceptexture.hak

Nowhere to be found, oddly. Thanks in advance.
I used winrar to examine the CEP patch and the files are there. I then followed the instructions in the read me and copied the named haks into the nwn haks folder. It worked because i can log onto hala and they have upgraded to CEP 1. 52

Um, does this upgrade affect the anti-crash fix when attacking from stealth?

Does anything need to be redone with that or should it be fine?

Thanks, oh, and thank you for all the hard work. It takes talent & effort, and this team has both in huge amounts.

Weird... I got all the haks in fine but when it comes down to the cep1patch152 thats when things enter the twilight zone.

Okay... extracted it to my hak folder and it went through so I try and log on. Missing hak cep1blahblahblah. So I go to extract it again thinking my dumb self must have forgot it. File already exists do you want to replace? Yes! So I find it was there but I replace it anyway and try and log on. Blahblahblahpatch152. :crazy2:

Is it just me or does this not seem really odd?

I had this exact same problem this morning. This solved it - extract the cep1patch152 into a folder other than your NWN haks folder - I used my desktop. Then just drag into the haks folder. Worked fine for me. I need to check for sure, but I believe that it is being extracted into a subfolder of haks, making it unavailable.

Yeah I found out why the program wouldnt recognize the hak: extracting from RAR for some reason it would extract it as a folder and the hak being inside the folder. Simply sending the hak out of the sub-folder into the hak folder was all I needed to do. I dont know how many others had this issue but I hope that solves it for some.

A side question - when I download a newer version of some .hak file, say 4_5, can I delete version 4_4 or whatever lower from my hard disk? NWN is becoming quite a folder on my hard... :D

Thanks in advance.
