That is not a compromise solution, that is your solution. Your chance is gone.

Personally, I see some flaws with Boris' solution. First, there were several thousand people that fought for this city. Not all of them were military, or even had combat training, but they fought. We are going to need some fairly large dice to do this fairly. Second, to the victor go the spoils, in all cases. The city, not we who fought, was the victor. Therefore I agree with the Prefect in this, that all future spoils be turned over to the city to do as they see fit.

This was the proudest moment in my family's history in the last couple of centuries, and this petty bickering over trinkets has spoiled it. I therefore forfeit any claim I may or may not have had on any of these tainted items. May they be used in some meaningful manner.

Rikus,

You do forget though that some of those that fought care more about lining their own pockets than they do about defending the city we all call home. Your actions are very honorable, but for each person of your honor there are several mercenaries looking to benefit themselves.

I think the names of the high bidders should be posted in the Tavern, so people may bless them for their charity.

What is all this talk of fairness, and eveness of division? This city is one of law, order and discipline. The correct route is surely to do with these items whatever best maintains the structure and discipline of the city.
The items mentioned would seem best utilised, and by that I mean put to best use in securing the future stability of Kuras, by being made available to those best able to use them. This, it seems, will not be the imperial army, as the soldiers are equipped in uniform fashion to allow coherent fighting as a unit, nor to the general populous, brave and couragous as they may be. Instead, those with the talents and skills to support the authorities should be the recipients of these articles. That they receive these items in exhange for a donation of gold towards the reparation of damages caused in the recent attack provides the city with two benefits: better equipped citizenry with the talents to support the army, and swollen coffers to spend in the furtherance of the city.
This is not about fairness. this is about preserving the order of Kuras in the face of chaos.

Prefect Roth has agreed to take all of the items off my hands. All items on both list will be handed over for use as he sees fit.

All of the items I had, have been turned into the Watch for them to see what to do with them.
