What lands do the different ogre clans typically occupy? I'm playing a half-ogre who was supposed to be raised by the Balzac and it would just be nice to go,"We're entering the >insert clan name here<'s lands." or something to that effect showing the knowledge/background of ogre tribes and the like..
If they don't tend to occupy specific areas as clans feel free to delete..

Orleron wrote:Ogre Lands: Though they have no official countries and nations of their own, sizable bands of ogres that loosely think of themselves as tribes or armies are known to roam the mountain ranges until they can establish makeshift cities and farms. These bands will marginally establish control over certain areas until they are repelled by whatever races are living nearby, usually dwarves and gnomes. Few of these settlements ever persist for long. Some ogres have taken to living far underground where they have become involved with the struggles of the demon lords, and the underdark. Other groups of ogres simply blend into urban populations and go relatively unnoticed by the government unless they cause trouble.
I would take this to mean, that an actual established city would be rare and not last long enough to allow that part of a country or nation, to be considered "the lands of such and such tribe".

There are plenty of ogres in the Hills of Tumult, just North of the City of Mikona, though it is not a large area. It is an area controlled by giants, but ogres are common.
Ogres are relatively common throughout the Wilderness, though there is no single area they claim as their own, I do not think. Perhaps the tribe that raised him simply wanders around the Wilderness? They do tend to be concentrated around Olvo's lair, now I think about it.
I believe there are plenty in Brekon and Dubunat, though those lands are not on any of the servers and unlikely to ever be so...

Alot of RL native tribes wander a set amount of land hunting particular game etc. They roam over a particular area(lets say T'Nanshi to very close to Mikona for the sake of the idea, and another tribe is from Deglos to Brekon.. or along those lines) so basically that's the question, do they?

Yes. The Team has clearly stated that PCs are not to be named in a way that they may be mistaken for NPCs.
Furthermore, only half-ogre is a playable race, so it would be cheesing as well to pretend you're an ogre.

Not sure he was referring to actually naming himself "Ogre-Magi" Just going around say " I'm <blank>, and I am an Ogre-Magi".
But since yes, the Half-Ogre is the playable race, you can't consider yourself an Ogre, therefore, I would think calling yourself an Ogre-Magi would not be appropriate either.

Well, he could but when a *real* Ogre Mage decided to fly in and kick him around..

You could also go with being from Brekon:
Secondarily, there is a strong following for Maleki within the city, and this is mainly a staple of the giant-kin and goblins who live there. In Brekon, these folk are often considered 2nd-class citizens, however they are always awarded full rights under the law, as are any outsiders.
Although that seems like it would be moving away from a 'tribal' type PC.
