Disarm
What should happen when your character is disarmed by a critter? I assume it must be one of three things:
1 - the item gets unequipped and ends up in your inventory
2 - the item drops to the floor
3 - the item is grabbed by the critter and ends up in it's inventory
Are any of these correct? I ask, because I fought a magebane crab last night, and it disarmed me (of both of the shortswords I was dual wielding at the time), I checked my inventory so that I could re-equip them, but they weren't there, and they weren't on the floor either. So, I drew my shortbow, thinking I could work out what happened to the stuff after I'd dispatched the crab. It disarmed me of the bow too. Again, no sign of it in my inventory or on the floor. The creature then killed me. And, after getting out of my deathplane, I charged to where the creature was, hoping to be able to kill it and get my weapons back, only to find that it had despawned.
Was I not quick enough getting back to slay the crab?

But that mental picture of this crab slapping you around and keeping your stuff is priceless.
I have had a NPC disarm before but my weapon went to the ground, I cant imagine how frustrating it would be if they had killed me and kept the stuff
