Kuras RPotM - June

Post by Jazz » Fri Jun 24, 2005 1:16 pm

Hi all!

Let's have our own elections, shall we?
Last time I had a lot of fun reading some nice comments about the player's pick, so feel free to do that again.

How to vote? Just send me a PM with:

1: your character's name
2: your first character pick of Kuras RPotM
3: your second character pick of Kuras RPotM

No, you can't vote on your own character.
Yes, you do have to have a Kurathene based character to vote.

I'll show the results here next week.

Winners of the first Kuras RPotM (May):

1: Dandric Notteel
2: Lucius, Masten Cattone, Vana

hmm.. difficult this month.. an increase in players, but a slight decrease towards the end (must be the summer kicking in)..

but I think I know who to vote for! :D

It was nice to get some more characters out there this month. Especially some with tempermants that allowed greater alignment play. I was getting sick of trying not to stand out as a non-lawful character (one night in jail is enough until the fiefs come online).

*goes hunting* Honestly, my character is at a standstill, but I did really enjoy the few times I logged this month. I have a few ideas, but nothing definite yet.

Maybe the DM's could award the winner some extra cookie or something.. :D

Jazz, this is still a great idea, thanks for keeping it going.

I'm sending over a PM now with my votes.

And the winners are:

1: Vana
2: Jame

What can I say about the winners? Well, since I play Vana myself... *waits for the people booing to calm down*...I can only say that I like playing her a lot, and that if people like her, it's mainly because a lot of others give her the room to blossom.

About Jame, or "James va'Kurane IV" as her full name is. She's a real Lady and plays that roll very well. Always reminding others how to behave in a proper way, but she's very kind as well. Jame is how I pictured a Lady would be RP'ed on Kuras before I started playing there. But even when she's not the Lady she's fun to have around.

Hope to see you all next month!

Oh, btw, this is not possible, sorry.
While I do encourage you to continue these elections, the team made the decision that there is only one 'official' RPotM, the Avlis wide contest, that gives awards.

*blushes*
You like me. You really like me.

Thanks Vana for the effusive praise. I really enjoy playing Jame and hopefully when the Fiefs open up, I'll be able to add another dimension to her character.

And now that I've finally leveled, I don't feel so far behind everyone and I'll stop pushing people into the dungeons :)
