Mikona reset needed?

Post by Calzier » Tue Jun 21, 2005 9:52 pm

Merchants in Mikona are currently being uncooperative (ie clicking on them does not initiate dialogue). Is a server reset called for?
The 'crafting' menu is also not working.

Yikes! Be gentle with my sweet, sweet, Mikona. She's been good to me!

hmmm, it got one of these last night, the restart that is, not the kick in the groin.

What was going on when you were having these issues? how many people were on? how many DMs were on?

It was actually Very sluggish after the reset last night....like something did not "Take". It was just as laggy after reset as before.

I had the same issues as Calzier. There were about 28 people on and at least one DM.

It is going on right now. No merchants responding. Crafting is not responding and also the crafting menu is not working.

Done nothing except strolling the marketdistrict.
Around 20 people online.

DM wands don't seem to be working either so it has to be a normal reset instead of a module reload from a DM

I can confirm that the crafting menu is not working now, although it was about 6 hours ago. I tried accessing it from a quickbutton and also the radial menu, neither worked.

Merchants in the docks districts do not respond either.

anything conversation based doesn't work. So no npc's, no wands, no crafting, hell, I can't even save my location.

Can confirm that too...

No radial menu to save location etc...

Your not the only one at work with no access, so you are probably right :-)

Sorry - not at work, but I don't have Console access.

Any US based DMs just getting home from work please?

I am home, with access, but I only know how to reload the module via the DM wand. How can I do a full reset?

As a DM? Simple, you can't.

Ah, so the bad news is I can't fix the problem. At least the good news is that I wasn't missing something obvious.

Someone seems to be stuck in its deathplane and can't leave because he can't get a dialog

ok, coming.

EDIT: It won't let me in with the DM client.
I can log to other servers, but not Mikona. You need to wait for a MC.

A crash may be the best option right now. Its not as good as a full reset, but its better than a reload.

can't login.
Screen goes black when loading, then freezes.
Other servers are working fine.
