Death, deleveling, and a wizard's spellbook

Post by szabot » Thu Jun 16, 2005 5:46 pm

Consider the following scenario:

A wizard levels, scribes a whole bunch of spells into his spellbook at the new spell level he just obtained, quickly dies and delevels...

When he completes his deathquest, regains his xp, and relevels, will the spells he recently scribed still be in his spellbook, or is he stuck with having to get scrolls for all of those spells again?

Been there done that :)

When you delevel and relevel you will remember all the spells you learnt from scrolls. The only ones you will forget are the ones you choose when actually leveling.

*remembers learning Grease on level up when he leveled as a conjurer, getting de-leveled, becoming a transmuter and still being able to cast Grease*
<Fuzz> thankfully, no one quotes me
<GairusWHO> I think so... but don't quote me on that.
<NWDuneAuron> in other news, study proves studies don't prove anything!
