I'm no expert on this stuff, but my guess is that Acid Fog is not yet a hooked spell, and therefore, is still running the default heartbeat script that doesn't work very well (read: doesn't work at all, 90% of the time) on persistant world servers. This is the same problem people saw with Storm of Vengeance, Entangle, and other heartbeat spells.

I'm no expert on this stuff, though, that's just my guess.

Could be, but it used to work well before being broken and then fixed.

I just started a Drangonari yesterday and noticed the same thing. Fire breath does damage, but Acid Fog does nothing. :(

You're welcome. I should turn my storage space into a small Hak dedicated mirror. 8)

Yep, this happens when you dont have any hide at all or you carry the PC hide.
But some old drangonari PCs used to have a hide, so those should be updated manually.
I do not get a Drangonari hide when logging onto Elysia, or anywhere else for that matter. I have no visible hides in my inventory. I've downloaded and extracted the haks. No breath stuff anywhere in the radial menu. My Drangonari was created before all the problems (I'm pretty sure), but I didn't play her with any regularity until recently. Am I still doing something wrong? :(
