New non-standard race?
i've learned that gnolls exist in avlis, and kobolds, and goblins...but do bugbears? and if so, would the avlis team consider making them a playable race akin to the gnoll subrace?

Bugbears do exist, yes. However, I don't believe that there are any plans to introduce them as a player race.

Issue is that everyone seems to try their damndest to reveal you as one, and then everything you've built up in that form and the other one that they associate with it are then destroyed, so it can be a heart breaker too. Just a heads up.Ben DeVeny wrote:try a changeling.

you can be about any race you want.
Best friggen RP race ever built.
Just remember when playing a changeling, you are not actually that race. You're just good at pretending.

Oh yes...You can meet many of them, somewhere in Wilds....Elysian_Guardian wrote:i've learned that gnolls exist in avlis, and kobolds, and goblins...but do bugbears?

I'm tired of all this nonsense about beauty being only skin-deep. That's deep enough. What do you want, an adorable pancreas?

It would be easy to make them a playable race, but they would be another static form race (i.e. your character looks the same regardless of what he/she is wearing).Elysian_Guardian wrote:no, it's not!! it's a "Please make bugbears a playable race" plea. they're about the same as gnolls, power wise. pweeeze?
