More haks

Morning all,

I'd like to draw your attention to three hakpacks that I've made availiable for download. They'll be required if you want to play on our other new mod - Kuras. It will be launching soon, and yes, unlike Choraldances I will risk using the word 'soon', so get them while they're hot. Then you'll be able to log straight in and play when we go live.

I have heard good things about Jonzie and his team's work on this project. Can't wait to get a look for myself. Here's to hoping that soon means soon heh.

Warning!

The version of the tw010 hak on the link above is V0.308b.
The version used for the Kurathene Empire server (Not Kuras) is the newest, V0.362b

Well, not by everyone who builds for the Kurathene empire, but I have used many things from that newest update.

The new link doesn't want to download - it gets to about 6% and then hangs.

The link mentioned by Krator works for me as well.

I also uploaded the version to the mirror tw010_326.rar, it will appear there when the synchro process runs.

Q4 Krator:
Does it means the Kurathene Empire and Kuras both use the tw010.hak but different versions? If that is the case both mods should be using the latest 3.26 version and should be upgraded asap.
Let us know and the old versions of the tw010 have to be removed from all DL sites, so much confusion

If Krator's used a newer version, go ahead and delete the old one, Alu. Kuras will work just fine with the latest, and it's best if we're all using the same resources. To anyone who downloaded the old version, you'll need to get the more recent one, now. My appologies for any inconvenience.

Stilgar fixed some errors (Walkmeshes mostly) with the update too, so maybe a module build with the newer hak installed would be good.

The hak currently on HArvey's site is appx 4mb which is an old version.
Tomorrow (I think) the latest version v 3.26 from the vault will be there, this version is 9mb.
You need to DL that the latest from either the vault or from Harvey site later. The file there will be called tw010_326.rar. I'll remove the old one from the source, hopefully the mirror proces picks that up as well.

Both Kurathene and Kuras should check if they use the latest version and if not rebuild the module with them.

The version I got from HarveyH is 9.3Mb, called tw010_326.rar.

I think Harvey might have updated already. The earlier file from the original link here was 4.3Mb and called tw010.rar. I will check again tomorrow, just in case.

Thanks for the details anyway - it does help to know the size of the file being downloaded, to ensure it is the correct one.

Do we still need the bolded hak? If so, I'm not seeing it on the hak download site. Also, am I reading correctly that we need tw010_326.rar and not tw010.rar ?
