I exported my characters a bit back and tried them in the original campaign.
I am having a bit of a problem with crashes however. Some of the items from Avlis and other worlds seem to crash my game every time I open the bag with them or they dissappear when they are not in my bags. Is this because these items have not been imported into the OC?
I find it frustrating that I can equip and use my army uniform all but without the cape visible. But other Avlis items like a Dissolving Rapier keep crashing me. Is there anything I can do about this?
Thanks for the help

Head ingame, remove all problem-causing items from your character's inventory and then save your character?
The SP campaigns don't use all the custom haks Avlis uses.. I doubt there's any other workaround.

Can't you open, modify, and save the NWN core games, then open them in the editor to add hack packs?

Yeah, it is more trouble than it is worth to hak/hack the original campainge.
But it is possible.

That's what I was thinking. I know you can edit the original campaign but only after you beat each chapter. I've unlocked all the modules from the game and can open and edit them all in the toolset.
Which .haks should I update the modules with?
BTW, how can I remove the visual effects from the game? Like spells and stuff here on Avlis? I know it can be done, just not how to do it. Any advice for me?
EDIT: Oh, and I'm fine on the computer deal. I have 1gig of RAM and 1.47 GHz athlon. I shouldn't have much of any trouble editing the modules even if they are very large files.

I would guess the onlly hak you need is the copap universal hak as that contains all the items that can portal throughout copap and therefore should contain and character issues...though Im guessing... anyone smarter know?

CoPaPHak
Cep
UniversalHak
Not a complete list but those is what you would need. And in that order.

Thanks guys. You're all basically right.
I was digging through a bunch of old posts in the Scripting thread, and found what I was looking for. Basically what you guys said.
Thanks for the help dudes
