If you're reading this (and I take it you are) then the website is up and running on the new server and host. Yay! The Avlis Team hopes that this dedicated webserver has the necessary horsepower to keep things running smoothly for the forseeable future.

Some things may be broken (apps, greeting cards) and will require my attention. Most (if not all) forum functionality should be golden. Send me a PM if not.

Searching the forum may take a bit of time. This is due to the search index tables not making the migration as there was some corruption in them. No huge loss, they will rebuild dynamically in time.

The forum software has been updated to the bleeding edge version (released this morning, actually) keeping us secure and optimized. This is important as we were patching back 7 or more versions. Ugg!!

So, there ya go. Welcome back and see you around.

Seems like folks are beginning to trickle in. Let me know if there are any problems. I still can't reach the website through the avlis.org domain because my local routing tables haven't refreshed yet. So, you're seeing the website in a way that I can't just yet.

Everything functioning normally?

No seriously, good job. Just noticed the search engine doesn't work anymore (though it did work before when people said it didn't).

Click forum and it's on the top right part of the table, just above the top board.

ok nice 1. Also one other thing, now when you press the header bar "world of avlis" it doesnt go to the home page, sometimes it just refreshes the page.
