best time for character voice

Post by ReallyStupidGuy » Tue Feb 01, 2005 7:54 am

What are the best times for your characters voice set to speak on its own. The funniest, my favorite being

starting to cut down a tree for lumber and as you click to attack my character sometimes says "Pray to whatever gods you worship" it is a tree for gods sake! It can't pray! and it can't worship!

My favourite is still my changeling in cow shape going "Blood makes the grass grow!"

'surrender.. or prepare to be destroyed'

Try saying that to undead when you're attacking to destroy them :)

lol, my favorite was playing a halfling of mine, who when meeting a bear face to face would always run away saying:

Help! Persued by a bear!

Hefting your two woodsmen's axes, adressing the tree to be cut, and saying: "We won't both walk away from this!" X:| :hmm:

Fighting undead with a party, and yelling "Death to the warmbloods!" First time that happened, several of them turned around and said things like, "The only warmbloods here are with you."

I love the Good Wizard voiceset's flee command.

"Fly, you fools!"

Hert, who is extra polite, will shout "OUTTA THE WAY" sometimes when I miss the Enter key while talking. Usually it's coupled with some keystrokes that make him push forward... effect: pleasant Hert suddenly knocks a few people sideways and screams at them.

I like it when Arania Moonshadow cheers.

No way, the best good wizard voiceset quote is "Poison?!?... now that's hardly fair". That one always cracks me up.

Goblin only says something when he rages. I have no idea what that means, but it cannot be good.

That is my opinion, not nessasarily anyone else's opinon, might just be, but that would be a coincodence, and damnit, sometimes the crap I write is not even my opinion either.

I <3 my woman Orc's voiceset. It's the female stupid barbarian one, which I've not run into anyone else with, for the sheer fact that it is stupidly hillarious. With such responses as "hellos" "goodbyes" "Uh-huh" and "ut-uhn", how can one go wrong?

My little gnome is the most annoying voice set as well. I picked the squeakiest most childish one I could find, which I think was the female innocent or something, which is far from what she is, but it's funny. What's even funnier is when I try to pus "VXW" to make her laugh, and instead it really hits "VWW" due to lag or something, and she screams out some war cry in the middle of a funny part of conversation. :-)

"Leave no slave alive!" being shouted by one of my Shaahesk soldiers as we're trying to calm down a bunch of rebelling slaves. Um, yeah, that didn't go over so well.
