Spell-like class abilities

Post by Lucien » Wed Jan 12, 2005 8:19 pm

Does anyone know whether these have the V or S components that the actual spells of the same name have?

Thanks.

They don't have somatic component but they do have verbal.

According to PnP rules they have no verbal, somatic or material component.

However, i guess that Lucien was meaning the spell-like abilities that assassins, blackguards and harper scouts get in NWN. Those abilities are meant to be actual spells but here they have been implemented like feats and they do have a verbal component. An assassin can't cast his ghostly visage if he's silenced, for instance.

Thanks, mortz. That's exactly what I wanted to know.

Similarly, do the durations scale with class level?

Yes, your level in the class that has granted you the special ability is considered to be your caster level.
