Ferrell = Ferrellian ... It just rolls off the tongue.

Drotid = Drotidan ... Adding the "ian" on it just makes it unwieldy. 8)

BTW: When are we going to start seeing a Shaahesk, and Dragonari Language Primer?

Someone also pointed this out to me in a PM. I have added Elysial, though I feel Elysian is in such common usage that it is best to leave both options on the list.

Or perhaps Elysial would refer to Elysia whilst Elysian would mean "of Elysium"

How about Hadean, Abyssal, Arborean, Limbic, Happy-Hunting-Groundian etc?

O'ma-ite? O'ma'an? O'manian? T'O'ma? Pixiefeet?

Oh man that'll get confusing. Everyone will think people are referring to someone from the real world country of Oman. People with spelling difficulties will think they are signs from god and... *slaps self* ENOUGH ALREADY!

Just call us Shaahesk - your pitiful warmblood attempts to create an alternative simply cannot communicate the majesty of the lizardman race. :P

What does that one have to do with this thread?

The point being that not all Drotidar are actually Shaahesk.

The rest would be called "worthless slave."

Some additions:
Dobrekan is "Dobrekanian." Obviously since the nation no longer exists it's just for historical reference purposes.

Trenium's people actually split themselves up based on the province they're from, "Denevian" "Amatish" "Brenantian" "Trenaine" "Ameledian" and "Laurnish" but the prefecture in general would be "Imperial" or "Trenish" to distinguish the province from the prefecture.

Hrm, I'm saying it, but I don't hear anything funny about it...maybe we're pronouncing it differently? *chuckles*

Someone from Toran Sharda would be a Shardan, actually.

Drotid is traditionally Drotidian.

Kurathene is Kurathenian, but someone specifically from the city of Kuras is a Kurasian.

Crullath would probably be a Crullathian, but the pronounciation would change... Crullath has a soft "a" ("ah" sound as in "part" or "calm") whereas Crullathian would have a hard "a" ("ai" sound as in "pain" or "plane")

For Medec I'd say Medecian, like Venetian... especially considering the city is based on Venice, and has a similar linguistic setup.

That's just my 2 cents... the Kurathene stuff is how it will be refered to in historical documentation, once Nob and I finish writing all of it up.

Drotid = land of Droti ?
or simply Hisslanders. :P

Ferrel = Ferrelites? That sounds positively biblical. 8)

I still do not see the relevance of that OOTS reference.

However, it was a very funny comic, so well worth another look.
