The CEP 1.50 patch should be good to run. Ive had it since before my session in Deglos. I was stuck and ventured around for an hour or so until I found my body. Have had no problems, with the auto-loot script. None with any area transition. No map glitches and no video glitches. Couldnt say how the custom characters may be from it but its fine for me

with my uberific 28.8k dialup deal, I only got a 7 hour wait on the CEP..

I've just installed all the haks + the cep patch 1.50 and everything still works perfectly! Just waiting for Avlis to go 1.64 now...

Am I the only one who gets "You cannot use that item" after every transition?

I've been getting this ever since I installed CEP 1.5 full version and it remained after I tried installing the 26,7mb patch

Edit: Tried it again and it seems like it isn't that item after all

The erroes occured on Mikona, Le'Or and Elysia.

Always get it between transitions on Mikona and Le'Or. Seems to be random on Elysia for some reason.'

Going to check Wilderness soon.

Cheers Mist - thanks for the links ! One thing though (a minor thing), could the mirror site have the year along with the month and date - would make it a little easier to see which one's I don't have.

I get the "You cannot use that item" message pretty much after each transition.

I never really noticed on which servers, but from what I can recall, they all do it.

And I haven't installed the new haks either.

Anyone knows what's the item they're referring to?

Me too...i get it so regularly i don't even notice the messages anymore.

Of course, when i transition in elemental form, i get that emssage for every single piece of equipment i have, evey single transition i pass...my right textbar is overwhelmingly yellow when i trael a distance when shifted...

I get the "cannot use item" message all the time as well, with both my characters. I've noticed it only on Ferrell and the wilderness

I'm fairly sure that this message is only for those items on your quickbar. If you have alot on your quickbar, when shifted you will get alot of these messages.

Should you lose connection or log off when shifted, and come back, you will see that all these items have been removed from your quickbar because you cannot use them. Trasitioning merely notes them all without removing them like that.

OK let me get this straight...

First, upgrade to 1.64 using the bioware update facility thingy.

Next, install the new haks and run the CEP 1.50 .exe thingy.

Lastly, log back in to Avlis for a trouble-free Enhanced Gaming Experience(tm).

That sound about right?

Well, the server message I'm getting at the moment says "Client and Server Versions do not match", so I'm assuming the upgrade didn't happen yet?

Mikona and Elysia seem to be updated at the moment, but not the others.

Alright, I've been playing on Avlis with no problems until now..I downloaded haks, used winrar to uncompress..and now the only thing that seems to be stopping me is now that avlis_main1_0.hak can not be found..Is this an entire new download hak? And where can I find it..i tried typing in that address for this website and it came up not found..Have hit a roadblock and could use some help...

(this is probably simple and I am just overlooking something)
