Question about Hala

Post by The Vagrant » Thu Sep 30, 2004 6:42 pm

Since Avlis will probably be going through many changes in the near future, I decided to take Orleron's advice and try a new world out. I decided to try out Hala. Before I even tried to get in I took a look at all the threads and found out what haks I might need to get in.

Last night, I DL the three haks needed to play Hala, however, when I tried to portal through or join directly to the world it still states I need these three haks. I know Im not as computer savy as most of the community here after all Im only a mere public servant for the county. My first question is where should the haks be placed and two if I do have them in the right place is there something else I need to DL to make them work. I know, I know I should know this, but Avlis has always provided me with enough entertainment. Anyway, if anyone could shed light on the issue, I be appreciative. I'll go back to sleep in my cubicle now.

On my computer they go into C:Neverwinternights/nwn/hak

Most of the haks I've downloaded were .RAR, so you need WinRAR to unzip it into said folder above. Good luck!

WinRAR, I see *headbutts desks*. I think that should solve the problem, thanks. I'll give it a whirl tonight. Ya gotta love the quick responses you get around here.

but you can't have headbutt sneak attacks on desks, they're immune to critcals and sneak attacks

So would the desk be considered a construct? A monk might be able to put a crack in it.
