G'day newbie here

G'day everyone

I'm new to these forums so I will introduce myself

I go by the name of Blitz in all games, I am 18 years old, I live in Australia and I play NWN on internode's(australian isp) drow wars which is a modified version of Rickterms retreat or whatever it is called.

Drow wars is a great community where people who don't know much about roleplaying can join and still learn how to roleplay reasonably well.

Most of the time I play an evil rogueish character but for when I get started here I am unsure because PRCs are blocked. I cannot see a rogue without SD doing well

I have heard it is very hard to level here and the server is mostly about roleplaying. This is what attracts me to it. I dislike powergaming and would much rather be involved in a some kind of plot and roleplay.

The rules are alot to take in but I will get there

Hopefully I will see you all in game.

Just thought i would let you know Prcs ARE allowed. but they are at Dms discretion as it were. for example you may have to do a quest, join a guild or somesuch to become one of the custom classes.

Not allowed:

Red Dragon disciples, Harper scouts, Champion Of Torm.

No Drow. Serg Wethrin are the equivalent (sp?) and are blocked at the moment

No Characters with obvious names. Jackie Chan didn't last very long from what I saw.

Also I forgot to ask about getting into the servers. I have heard they have passworded but can't seem to find the place where it gives you the password.

Pirates are about as far as you can get from Paladins, too.

you have to send in an application to play. check the front page fo the site (right hand said). you will have to wait a couple of days, though its well worth it.

Your not missing anything right now coz jordicus farted near the modem and it died, he does that sometimes.

If you've just applied, give it till Saturday before you get frustrated not getting the passwords. It takes a while, especially as some of the Team are working on the server probs. In the meantime, read the backhistory and player guide, whether you have rp'd before or not, it is a huge help. Take my word for it.

Oh, and each time you check your e-mail (because like me I'm betting you will check it at least 3 times each day) check in the junk mail folder too. Sometimes the passwords end up there.

Don't listen to that guy. Paladins bring light only in the direction they look at while behind them only darkness and destruction is left. The dark side is way superior. You just need to blow out the lights. All of them !

I think he means that they use new recruits as bodyguards to protect themselves against nasty rogues. Shame on you Paladin !
