Client display placeables issue - help?
This is happening to my client for some time now... There seems that some of the placeables are depicted differently in game than they should be...
While they appear as they should when I work in the toolset, they "change" form when I login to the game, either as player or DM. I have verified that its a client-side issue (since only ~I~ can see them differently) and only with specific placeables, such as the bloodstain, which changes to a "scorch mark" or some CEP placeables with the hanging humans that turn to a metallic cross with shackles (both of them).
Does anyone else have the same problem?
I dont have any file in my override folder btw...

The "bloodstain" issue exists for me long before CEP.. I believe it began after I installed SoU or HotU.. not sure.. But I did try a complete re-install some months ago... with no success.

and ..umm.. yeah!why are you doing stuff with blood-stains and torture victims - you building a new deadly dungeon to capture unwitting PCs

Generally, this signals that your placeables.2da is not up to date with the server.
Another rather devious cause is having a placeable that utilizes the same .pwk as another placeable but without changing the internal filename references.
The second issue is very fickle. A project I worked on had this problem and it would display correctly and incorrectly intermittantly between people. i.e. When it was reported I tested it in the toolest and the offending placeable looked fine. I took a screenshot to show the other person. The other person opened the toolset and took a screenshot of the same placeable with a different appearance. This is working on the same module with the same haks. The resource management seems to get confused-- but only periodically and inconsistently.

Thought thinks itself.
