Roleplaying CVC and asassins....

Post by M0lly » Fri Aug 20, 2004 11:55 am

ok, im just starting up a new character, the assasins seems really unpopular, and sooo many people seem to think there a waste of time and not powerfull enough etc etc...

i thought kewl!

but if somebody hired me for a job for a very good ic reason (fueding guilds or what have you), either i sneak attack from shadows and try killing the poor bastard, or i avoid killing on sight and roleplay a bit, which would go lke this:

*voice from shadow*
'Time to die poor prey' -or something like that

*potential victim turns round*......bollocks, no more sneak attack....i kinda need the surprise on this one, it just seems completely ooc to announce your sneak attack?

I really disagree with killing on site, theres should alway be witty superhero/villain banter, but could it perhaps be neccesary in said circumstances? assuming there is GOOD IC REASONS FOR PEOPLE WANTING SAID VICTIM DEAD!

You need evil board access. Once you get it, do some searches for advice. Then come up with some straight forward questions. and they will get answered in a multitude of ways, from different points of view to help you make your own decisions about good ways to handle this kind of thing.

That is my opinion, not nessasarily anyone else's opinon, might just be, but that would be a coincodence, and damnit, sometimes the crap I write is not even my opinion either.
