New peristance code is up and running!

One of our major priorities lately has been getting our new token-less persistance system up and running. If you are new to Avlis, you may not remember that our old system ran into a wall when the data script got too large to compile. Silk has written a couple of new applications that read the persistant data out of a Microsoft Access file and form multiple scripts from it which then set the local variables on the in-game PCVault. This system has been working for a couple days now, so you can expect all of your quests and ranks obtained in the armies to be remembered now! Let's all give Silk a hand! Also thank you to all the staff and players who patiently waited for this new system to come online. We can now offer persistant chests in houses, so speak to Vanor (vanor@blackdagger.com) if you are interested in one of these.
