ALL SERVERS NOW USING CEP

Post by Aloro » Sat Jun 05, 2004 10:27 am

With the conversion of the Wilderness Server, all Avlis servers are now using the CEP haks and the latest CoPaP haks. Players can look forward to a lot of beautiful new content, which is already starting to appear throughout Avlis.

Nice timing, I close Mozilla after finishing reading the Avlis site with no news messages on, and by the time I connect to the Wilderness, I start wondering why I have the normal run.
You managed to update whilst I was inbetween reading the site and conencting to the server....

Looking forwards to the new stuff. :)

The file seemed to work for me, it also says to remove one of its files to get the whirlwind animations to work. Seems 100% to me.

no!! there are no more animations files included in our haks, so there is nothing to remove. that was fixed with this round of hak updates

no no no. There is a file in the download i posted you leave out when installing the files to go back to the old animations. I did not mean to leave anything out of the avlis haks.

I posted this in one other spot but it might have gotten lost in the flurry of posts for the CEP expansion.

Now that we are CEP what can we delete from our hak files for those of us with smaller drives?

It took me a while to get an answer on this too but here goes....

The CEP does not contain any tilesets at all. What this means is that all of the Avlis haks are still required unless marked as optional.
