silly n00b question

hey all i just joined here and all pumped to be a part of this awesome world

one question tho...on my first email it has 5 world and then some othere sections: there are 5 worlds in total, and avlis is just bigger so it needs 6 servers connected and they all are their own world/server, but all in the avlis world?. if that made any sense at all...one more try....

The various nations and cities of Avlis are spread across five different servers all linked together at certain places. You simply have to find the right place and take the area transition. The software on Avlis will portal your character over to the proper server. It's that simple.

Avlis is part of CoPaP which is a collection of NWN persistant worlds. When you join Avlis you are actually joining CoPaP and can play on any of the member worlds. In the email you recieved you would have been given the passwords to all of the CoPaP worlds.

Avlis is the biggest of the CoPaP worlds at this stage so it is split across 6 servers, the others are only on 1 server each at this stage.

There are portals between these worlds so it is possible to create a character in one of them and portal over to the others, but you will have to find the portals IC.
