Clarification: Presitge Classes and BAB

Hey guys,

I looked in my PHb and DMG but I can't seem to find answer to this.

My charcter is within 2 levels of taking her prestige class (Champion of O'Ma). Sheh as al lher feats and skills. The only thing i think shes still missing is the requisite BaB. My question is, is the requiste BbB of +7 *before* taking the PrC or afterward? In other words since +1 BaB shoudl come with the PrC, can you do it when leveling from 6 to 7 ECL, or must it be from 7 to 8?

Secondary question, should I notify somebody that Im going to need a PrC quest soon? And again does this have to be done after all requirements are met or can it be done as part of getting to that last level?

Before. Until you have the BAB of +7, you won't qualify for the PrC, and it won't show up as an option.

As to the second question. It can be done before you are ready to take the class... But Idealy it should be done at soonest, fairly close to you being able to take the class. When you're ready, let me know and I'll take care of it.

Okay I'm about 1.5K into 6th. Will be a few weeks real time probably bfore I can get near to 8th.

I just made 7th level as a fighter and I am ready to to use my exp. points towards Weapon Master. I understand that I need to perform a quest , or to inform a DM that I am at this stage.

Sorry , This is my first char, here and do not know all the ins and outs.

Please help me out here

PM your "favorite" dm with character backstory, description, desired prc, reason, and any other relevant info.

I don't have a favorite DM (yet), as I have not yet to meet one online.

I play in the City Of Le' Or T'Nanshi so maybe some one knows the DM who resides there?

I would love to foward that info on the them...

Silvermane, did you play on the Dragon's Gate MUD back on AOL? Silvermane was a prominent character on it.
