HotU PrC's not appearing...
Got sort of an odd bug now, when I start up HotU or any other module, the HotU Prestige classes do not appear with names off of the class selection list, they are all just blacked out/blank. Similarly, if I take one of the premade characters that has a HotU PrC and start playing, none of the special abilities are accessible for that character. Any idea what is going on here? I'm at a loss.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

Hmm, seemed to have found the culprit...the classes.2da file in my override folder seems to have been causing this.
Now I just need someone to tell me why it was causing this problem.

The short: Pull it out of your Override unless you plan on starting a Paladin on Avlis.
The long:
Why it was causing the problem? Simple. That classes.2da is an Avlis file that's needed for things like the Avlis PrCs and so forth. But since it was sitting in your Override it did what it was supposed to...Overrode the default behaviour.
Unless you're playing a Paladin in Avlis, you don't need to have it in your Override. The reason that Paladins do, is related to them getting their Detect Evil ability.

Thanks again for the info and the help. And yes, Dralix, every now and again, when I just feel like killing monsters and not rping (this happens approximately once per month), I pull out the single player game and kill some stuff. It's cathartic!

That's intersting, because I have not been able to find the Detect Evil ability for my Palidin. Is it supposed to be under the Palidin Special Abilities in the Radial Menu? Or, am I missing it someplace?Jordicus wrote:AFAIK, the classes.2da no longer needs to be in the override folder even for paladins as of HoTU/1.62

When I feel like killing some stuff I use my lvl 17 monk and I send him to the FoM for a "training" session.

Eat, drink, and be merry, for tomorrow, who knows ?
