My badass MONK~! thread

I'm hoping more will follow in my footsteps and create a monk, so I'm going to detail my adventures with him. Since everything is new in this game, I'm sure I'll screw up at several points, so hopefully this will allow people to learn from my mistakes.

Of course, I can't start until I buy the game tonight.

man u are anxious heh all i can say is you wont be disappointed i started a fighter (easeir to play) to get use to the game then im gonna go back and do something harder but hey maybe me and you could get a guild goin on avlis once it starts. welp took my lunch break back to the game

Is the game based on the third edition D&D rules or is it totally different?

If it is on 3rd Ed.... your monk you are making doesnt have enough firepower but very good defensively and has some neat tricks

Yeah, it is complete 3rd Ed. rules. It's true that he doesn't do much damage, but he is able to dodge and evade attacks while he beats down the enemies.

I took some screenshots, mostly at the beginning with the Character Creation and such (didn't want to spoil too much of the game). I'll have them posted later on. The game is fucking awesome though!

Are you playing the single player or online? I've yet to play online. I want to, just haven't yet. I'm skeered.

Oh, it is. My badass MONK~! is awesome. I wish he did more damage, but I'm pretty untouchable as it is now. I can't wait to get to the higher levels.

i got a lvl 13 barbarian hes pretty kool a level 7 or 8 fighter and a level 7 sorceress all on chapter 2
