Avlis now running HoTU 1.62

Post by Sylvan Phoenix » Mon Mar 15, 2004 5:41 am

We just upgraded all servers tonight to HoTU 1.62. Hopefully this will be fairly stable for the next few days while we work out the inevitable bugs that come with a major upgrade.

Please, if you see any bugs (code-wise not beetles) post them in the bug report forums. If you notice the servers crashing a lot please post that as well.

Cheers,
Sylvan

I just want to you guys to understand we wish there wasn't such a long wait for the update to HotU, but it was necessary in order to ensure a bug-free transition.

Avlis is a big world, there were a ton of systems that could of broken (and some that DID break) as a result of upgrading to HotU. Because we took this time (almost 3 months), bioware was able to patch many of the large issues.. and we were able to thoroughly test all our systems for compliance.

As a result, we're having a nice transition (based on Deglos so far) and you won't see showstopping bugs during your play *crosses fingers*.

So, I'd like to thank ALL of you that stuck by us in patience. We recognize that, and we're grateful to have such a great community.

Thank you.

Now that we're using HotU, we have a lot of nifty new stuff coming in the near future that'll blow your minds and make your eyes bleed.

Avlis - it just keeps getting better!
