Palemaster is just so cool... that undead arm alone makes it worth it. Plus it gives pretty nice bonuses, and lets you summon undead aplenty. That death touch ability is nothing to sneeze at either. Sh'lieulias is going that way anyway; this will just let the world know it. Not that they'd really notice the difference anyway

I might try one eventually. The big problem with all these PrC is that I only have time on Avlis for so many characters, and to get a PrC takes developing a character for quite some time. And there are plenty of non-PrC concepts I want to play as well. So many character I want to try, so little time to do them all well.

Some scary (yet awfully cool) thoughts about epic characters and PRCs -
An epic dwarven defender gains 3/- at sixth level, and 3/- additional DR every 4 levels thereafter. This is nice, but doesn't seem that great, until...
You have someone go 7 fighter/18 Dwarven Defender (something that is quite possible to do). You'd be looking at 12/- DR. Then they could take the DR feat a couple times (three times in that span), going for a DR of 21/- at level 25. I think that would win my competition for the ultimate badass character, with hp in the three hundreds and defensive stance useable like 10 times a day.
Epic Palemasters will also be scary, getting base ACs in the 20s and death touch being useable five times a day, along with a fair number of bonus HPs.
Epic Weaponmasters with Overwhelming Critical will just own.
Then again, epic characters in general will make the mere mortals among us wet our pants. They will just be awesome. I'm not complaining - I'm gushing! This will be cool.
Now, where was that cave again I was going to be hiding in?
And this just scares me:

Apparently you can only take Epic Damage Reduction twice. What a pity; they can only get up to a damage resistence of 18/- at level 25. Still the equivalent, more or less, wearing a greater swordsman's, brawler's, and archer's belt at the same time, along with amulets of every sort of damage resistence.
Just out of curiousity, is divine damage reduced by general damage resistence such as that of a high level barbarian?

Disobedience is the true foundation of liberty. The obedient must be slaves.

and i don't think it stacks with the belts. i'll have to test that. But i'm pretty sure it doesn't.
