Old RPG player/Avlis Newbie questions

First af all I must congratulate the Avlis design team and Avlis creator!
Brilliant work guys!!! :D Keep up!!! :D

I've been playing RPGs for ten years (that's not much being compared to 30,heh? :wink: ). D&D (nearly all campaign settings), Cthulhu, Rolemaster, World of Darkness (nearly all games) and many more :wink: I've been playing Computer RPGs since the "eye of the beholder" and "dungeon master" age.

Now to the point:

Suppose that I'm a complete idiot (which is the case :P ).
I purchased the NWN game and I only have the game cds.
Plain and clear:
What do I have to do to play Avlis? (paying, downloads, modifications etc.)

I'm verry sorry If I asked common things, but I'm a little bit lost in here :cry:

At least please give me some links.

YOu need:

NWN---you already have this
SOU---The first expansion to NWN? If you bought NWN Gold, you should have it already, if not, then thats your next purchase

Avlis/COPAP HAKS---available for download on the website. Go to Downloads/Haks, the instructions should be clear enough from there.

Lastly, you have to send in an application and wait for the normally compulsory acceptance and you're all clear to play.

You need the hakpaks listed there and the other stuff is optional.

Avlis european balance defenitely starts to tilt greece-ward.

Damn, we managed to avoid most if the DM's due to the time zones so far...

With all those europeans DM'ing lately... We have to think of something else!!! :twisted:
