Avlis takes on a DM and a Quest Designer

Post by Orleron » Mon Dec 15, 2003 1:20 am

Please give it up for Vichan Lyonsen, our newest Minor DM, and for terryrayc, our newest Quest Designer. Vichan is well-known by many, and we anticipate his creativity adding to our mix. terryrayc has been working hard to flesh out many new quests in Mikona that you should be seeing within the next couple weeks.

Vichan! I so miss RPing with you. Its been a while since I've seen you, but I'll never forget the time we were in the Wilderness and you sent me a tell saying you had to wrap things up because work was in 5 hours! Only to just then START a mini-adventure with Dieder.

Glad to have you on the team and look forward to interacting with you as a DM!

And congrats to Terryac as well, I know you a little but you post a lot of creative, thoughtful ideas on the boards that I have generally found quite informing. I wish you the best in your role as quest designer.

Whew-who for Avlis!

Verg.

Not to worry..Vichan isnt going anywhere.. and I dont think that this will seriously effect his game time either..I'm vowing to myself and the OoG that this is the case anyway.

I remember that night still, very fun..(I think I got 2 1/2 hours before my 9 hour day)...and though I havent seen Pollio in ages, your Alt (is she your prime now) at least sees me from time to time......

Welcome to the team guys. Look forward to working with you both.

Thank goodness Vicky finally gave up that powergamer character, Tehenen. If I saw her one more time at the Ice Caves, I was gonna throw up! Jesus. To go from level 1 to 5 in 8 months is just ridiculous. I bet she has like 4200 gold too. Unbelievable how fast she was gaining levels and wealth. ;)

Aye, thanks for the trust and honor of being on the team. Looking forward to adding even more quests :D

Which reminds me...When you find yourself in either an old area that seems a lot harder then the last time you were there or a find a new quest that seems to keep you on the edge of your seat then

But no in all honesty, I look forward to helping make Avlis more enjoyable for the player base!!

Hum, spends 3 seconds thinking about Sparrow and then decides it's a wast of time :D

Hey remind me to use you for final testing of some new epic monster quests...Lets see you only need to be around level 30 to live..........hum....nope not level 30.........lets see where is that raising rod...hang on sparrow I'll bring you back to life shortly...no really...give me just a moment, besides seems the quest isn't hard enough, I'll need you to run through it again!!

Congrats to you both. I don't think I've run into terryrayc online, but if the team feels he's up to their standards, he's gonna be a great addition!

Vichan, though, I know. If he puts even half the thought into DMing that he has into playing his character, he'll do a fantastic job!

Heh. Terry isn't meetable online because he's too busy planning on violent PC deaths. (that would be making quests, nothing mean intended)
