Sure you can try Avlis out. Connect to:

avlis.blackdagger.net

on ports:

5121 City of Mikona
5122 Wilderness of Avlis
5123 City of Elyisia
5124 City of Le'Or'T'Nanshi
5125 Nation of Deglos
5126 Nation of Ferrell

The most action should happen on servers 1-3.

OK, logged on to Elysia with a level 20 monk, with tons of Gold. Visited the merchants and bought a load of gear.

Then spent a few minutes giving some DM love to a group of ogres

Then the server went down.

For some reason, the direct connection with a shortcut does not seem to work. When I loaded NWN and went through the Direct Connection in that - it worked if the cursor was in the password field, but not if the cursor was still in the address field. It seems you need to enter a blank password - not just ignore the password box.

Even those few minutes reminded me how great Avlis is - no other people with whom to RP - just run around - find monsters - whack - monsters dead - move on.

Really, really boring - come back Avlis, as soon as possible.
Life is never as bad as you think it is, although that doesn't help at the time.

That's it.

The M'Chek army is now in control of all of T'Nanshi. Yes, I know, only one day, but still. It'll take weeks to get rid of the graffitti. All your bases are belong to us. Deglos and Ferrell too. Fairy Gardens was nothing.

Where did that extra "s" you tagged on to the end of "base" come from? You are getting a bit too grammatical for that phrase!

LOL!  :o

Mikona is too damn funny right now. I thought I had a nice 20th lvl character that I put together in 5 minutes, but I met my match pretty quickly. There are some wicked character builds running around killing each other right now.

I never realized how much pent up frustration people had with the citizens of Mikona! Not one person alive in the Marketplace!

If there was ever any doubt that there is a pent up frustration in not being able to grief someone this appears to be be indicating that the answer is resounding NO

I'm one of those married guys  with very little time to play, so I have only 2 level 20 charaters  .. and it took me months to get them there... I have never downloaded a Mod to help make a high level charater quick as discribed above by somebody (ANY LINKS SO I MIGHT FIND ONE OF THESE MODS?).... maybe my level 20 charaters would have stood a chance.. but my lowly level 12 monk was toast hehe
