Feel free to play any of the nine alignments. Just a heads up, CN and the evil alignments have death planes that are notable harder to escape from.

Also, in case you have an evil character, make sure to read the rules section carefully to make sure you don't Grief characters using the excuse of alignment. Also, there's a whole private forum dedicated to running evil characters which (so I've heard) discusses ways to play evil characters without Griefing.

Not to discourage you from doing it, as it is possible, it is just much more difficult to be evil effectively without resorting to the eat-your-liver style of play.

Most of the threads on the Evil Forums are us making fun of Vian. Its actually very theraputic.
